Katy Tunbridge is an Australian multi-award-winning singer-songwriter, producer, guitarist, and founder of Sounds Out Loud, based in Los Angeles. Her music blends rock, pop, Americana, blues, soul, and subtle jazz influences into a sound that is bold, emotionally honest, and driven by powerful storytelling.
Katy performed her original song "Superhero" live at the World Entertainment Awards in Beverly Hills, where "Grab the Wheel" received Best Americana Song. Her follow-up releases have continued to earn international recognition, with "Carried Away" nominated for Best Pop Song, while "Let Go Away" received Best Rock Song, and "Get Back Up Again" was honoured with Best Social Awareness Song and Song of the Year. She also submitted five original songs for Grammy® consideration during the most recent Grammy Awards cycle.
Her releases have been distributed through Symphonic Distribution and The Orchard (Sony Music), and she continues to build a growing catalogue of original music while collaborating with songwriters, producers, and artists across Los Angeles, Nashville, New York, and Sydney.
She’s collaborated with Grammy-nominated producer Billy Smiley (WhiteHeart, Johnny Cash, BeBe & CeCe Winans), and has recorded with an all-star cast of musicians including:

Katy Tunbridge, an acclaimed singer, songwriter, artist, and music producer from Australia, has made her mark in the music industry by collaborating with some of the most renowned musicians and session players.
Writing, recording and producing her music in Los Angeles, New York, Sydney and now Nashville, Katy crafts her original music with influences from legends like The Beatles, Sting, and Tracy Chapman.
Katy has joined forces with Grammy-nominated producer Billy Smiley to produce an album of original material in Nashville, TN. This project features an impressive lineup of musicians, including Gary Lunn (Dolly Parton, Billy Ray Cyrus), Blair Masters (Peter Frampton, Garth Brooks, Barry Manilow), Dan Needham (Michael McDonald, Chicago), and Jonathan Crone (Mat Kearney, Bebe & Cece Winans, Danny Gokey), Tom Hemby (Amy Grant) and Jonathan Brown.

Katy's album "Skin Deep", emerged from the iconic Sound Kitchen Studios, The Castle and Peter Frampton’s Studio. "Skin Deep" was released October 11th 2024. The mixes were crafted by legendary mixers Steve Williamson (Chosen) and Billy Whittington (Amy Grant, Vince Gill), promising a sound that will captivate audiences worldwide.
